Sandsfoot Rest

This Edwardian terraced house stands in Weymouth, a short walk from the Castle Cove and Sandsfoot beaches, with the main town beach under two miles away. The front door has a lead-decorated window, and the hallway leads into a sitting room with a woodburning stove. A shower room opens off the sitting room.

The open-plan kitchen is fully equipped, with an electric oven, a gas hob, a microwave and a fridge freezer, and the house also has a dishwasher and a washing machine. Patio doors open onto an enclosed courtyard with garden furniture. A wooden staircase climbs to three bedrooms, a king-size, a large double and a twin, which together sleep six and look across the town. The family bathroom has a bath and a separate walk-in shower, and with the shower room off the sitting room there are two bathrooms.

Three well-behaved pets are welcome. Smoking is not allowed in the house or the garden. Parking is on the road on a first come, first served basis, so a space is not reserved. The nearest shop and pub are both 0.5 miles away. The rent includes fuel, power, bed linen and towels, and the house has WiFi and gas central heating. In July and August the house takes seven-night bookings starting on a Friday only.

It suits a family travelling with pets, or a group of friends who want a woodburner for the evening and a short walk to Sandsfoot beach.
