Sea View - Charmouth

Sea View is a detached cottage for six in Charmouth, 100 metres from the beach, with the shop 600 metres and the pub 700 metres away. Park off the road, in one of two spaces, and go in by the back door to the kitchen/diner, which looks towards the sea and across the walled garden.

The kitchen has a gas hob, an electric oven, an American-style fridge/freezer with filtered water and an ice maker, a larder, a microwave and a dishwasher. A utility area adds a washing machine, a tumble dryer and an iron. The lounge has a picture window with a view of the sea and a Smart TV. Next door is a music room with a piano and an exposed stone wall. The snug beyond has a wood burner, with the first basket of logs provided from October to March, and a Frame TV.

Upstairs, a super-king-size, a king-size and a twin with two 3ft singles share a bathroom with a large bath, a handheld shower and a WC. Two bedrooms have sea views. Three steps lead up to each main bedroom from the landing, each flight with a small rope banister. A shower room with WC completes the ground floor.

The enclosed garden has two areas for sitting and eating, a south-facing patio with two sun loungers, and a back gate onto the coast path and the beach. An outdoor shower with a rain head and a handheld shower has hot and cold water. Electric vehicle charging is on site for a fee paid to the owner. No dogs can stay. The cottage suits a family or two couples who want the beach on the doorstep.
