Seagull and Chips

The living and dining room at Seagull and Chips has a Victorian bay window with a built-in window seat, a corner sofa and a dining table, and the kitchen opens directly off it. The apartment fills the second and third floors of a converted Victorian house in Weymouth. The beach is 50 metres away, and a shop and a pub are each 0.1 miles off.

In the kitchen you will find an oven, a hob, a microwave, a fridge/freezer, a dishwasher, a kettle, a toaster and an air fryer. Entertainment comes from a TV with an Amazon Fire Stick for streaming and a PlayStation 4 that also plays Blu-rays and DVDs. Broadband is included, as are fuel and power, bed linen and towels. The bathroom has both a bath and a shower.

The master double on the top floor has a king-size bed, hanging and drawer space and a folding luggage rack, and the twin on the lower floor also has hanging space. The stairs to the third-floor bedroom are original to the building, narrow and steep with low headroom, and there is no lift. Anyone who would struggle with a steep climb should choose another property.

Pets and smoking are both ruled out. Temporary parking for up to one hour is possible directly outside, space permitting, which gives time to unload. A good-housekeeping bond is payable. Best for two couples, or a couple with two children, who want the seafront on the doorstep and do not mind a climb.
