Seagull Cottage

Seagull Cottage is a single-storey studio apartment in Lyme Regis, one of several similar properties in a complex in an elevated spot, and it sleeps two. The South West Coast Path can be joined directly from the site, and the property is on the bus route.

One open-plan room holds the lounge, dining space and double bed, with a small kitchen alongside: a combi oven and microwave, a two-ring induction hob, a Tassimo coffee maker (pods not provided) and a fridge with an ice compartment. A separate shower room has a WC. There is a Smart TV with DVD, USB sockets, and an air-to-air heat pump that heats the studio and cools it in summer. Laundry is in a shared room on site, with a washing machine and tumble dryer for a small charge.

Parking is one off-road space about 30 metres from the studio. From it, a shared pathway and steps lead to the property, and access is either down a set of outside stairs to the small courtyard or along a long path, so check that suits everyone staying. The open patio at the front has a bistro table and chairs, and guests can walk the extensive shared grounds. Those grounds are not secure or enclosed, so dogs must be supervised at all times.

Two dogs are allowed, with additional charges that may apply. Babies and children are not accepted. The beach, a pub and a shop are within walking distance, and the studio suits a couple who want to walk the coast path from the door.
