Seahill - West Bay

Seahill is a detached house in West Bay that sleeps eight across four bedrooms. Six steps lead down from the parking area to the main entrance, which opens into a lobby and the kitchen. The kitchen has an electric double oven, an induction hob, an American-style fridge/freezer, a microwave, a dishwasher and a small breakfast bar.

Next to it is the open-plan lounge and dining room, which has a Smart TV and sea views, with a small nook leading off for a book or a puzzle. Two bedrooms are on the ground floor: a double, and a zip-and-link super-king that can be made up as twin beds if you ask at the time of booking. They share a shower room. Upstairs are a super-king and a twin, and the Jack and Jill bathroom on that level has a freestanding bath, a separate shower and a WC. Part of the first floor has restricted head height because the rooms sit in the eaves.

Doors from the lounge lead to a raised deck that wraps around two sides of the house, with seating and an outdoor dining table. A few steps go down to a lawned garden with more seating, and the garden is fully enclosed. In the adjacent outbuilding is a utility room with a washing machine and tumble dryer. A travel cot and highchair are available, and parking is off-road for four cars.

Two dogs are allowed, and additional charges may apply. The beach, pubs and shops are within a short walk. Check-in is from 4pm and check-out is before 10am. The house suits a group of up to eight, or a family with dogs, who are comfortable with steps at the front and the back.
