Seashore Retreat

Seashore Retreat is a split-level apartment directly on the high street in Swanage. The beach, a pub and a restaurant are all within 100 metres, so it works for a stay that does not depend on a car.

The entrance is on the first floor, up a flight of stairs from the street, and a further flight leads to the main living area. That is an open-plan lounge, kitchen and diner with comfortable sofas and a Smart TV. The appliances are an electric oven, a gas hob, a dishwasher, a fridge/freezer, a microwave and a washing machine.

On this floor is the king-size bedroom with an en-suite bathroom that has a shower over the bath and a WC. Another flight of stairs climbs to the twin bedroom on the second floor, whose en-suite shower room has a WC, and whose window looks over the high street with glimpses of the sea. In total there are two flights of stairs up to the property and one more inside it.

There is no outdoor space. Parking is by one permit at a local hotel 300 metres from the apartment, rather than at the door. No dogs are permitted. The apartment suits two couples, or a couple with an adult friend, who want to be in the town centre and are comfortable with stairs.
