Shearwater

Shearwater is a four-bedroom house in West Bexington, with the pebble beach 200 metres away. Bridport is 6.5 miles away, and the nearest shop is 4 miles. A couple of steps lead up to a large enclosed porch for coats and boots, then into a tiled hall and a lounge with plenty of seating, a Smart TV with Netflix and a Bluetooth sound system.

The open-plan lounge, kitchen and dining room looks over the garden and has patio doors. The kitchen has an oven, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, a dishwasher and a washing machine. On the ground floor are two bedrooms, a double and a twin, each with a TV and an en-suite shower room, and a pet and boot room. Upstairs, one bedroom has a 5ft zip-and-link bed and sea views, and the other is a double with a 5ft bed, a balcony with a table and chairs and an en-suite shower room. A bathroom with a shower over the bath is also on this floor. An open fire has logs provided all year round.

The front garden is laid to lawn. At the rear, the garden is split into three areas linked by steps and paths, with lawns among trees and a patio. A covered area to the side stores bikes, and the driveway has ample parking.

Dogs are accepted up to a limit of two, and additional charges may apply. The house suits a family or two couples who want a beach almost on the doorstep and a room for wet dogs and boots.
