Smugglers Cottage

Smugglers Cottage is a three-storey cottage beside the harbour at Brewers Quay in Weymouth, with a shop and a pub within 0.1 miles. It sleeps four in two bedrooms. The second-floor bedroom has a king-size double and an en-suite shower room, and the twin room below has a large bay window and plenty of storage. The family bathroom has a bath with a shower over it, and there is also a cloakroom, which is WC only, so the house has two bathrooms.

The kitchen/diner has a skylight over the dining table, a Neff electric oven and induction hob, a microwave, a fridge/freezer, a dishwasher and a washing machine, and there is also a utility room and a tumble dryer. The sitting room has a gas fire and a Smart TV. A small courtyard garden gives you a spot outside for a drink. Gas central heating and WiFi are in place, and fuel, power, bed linen and towels are included.

The property does not accept children under six, and pets and smoking are not allowed. Parking is by one on-road permit for Zone L, valid until 28 April 2027 subject to council renewal, and a space cannot be guaranteed. The nearest pay and display car park is Nothe, a few minutes' walk. Fayre in the Square, usually on the late May bank holiday weekend, and the Wessex Folk Festival, usually the first weekend of June, close the harbour and Hope Square to traffic.

It suits a couple, or two couples, wanting a roomy house near the harbour.
