Spring Rose Cottage

Spring Rose Cottage is a terraced house in the centre of Fortuneswell, on the Isle of Portland, spread over three floors, with the pub 0.1 miles away and the shop 0.2 miles. Fortuneswell is on the side of a hill and is steep in places.

The sitting and dining room has a woodburning stove and a table set for eight. On the first floor a family bedroom holds adult bunks and twin beds, and the second floor has two double bedrooms, one with its own en-suite bathroom. Together they sleep eight, and a travel cot and highchair are available on request.

The main bathroom has a walk-in shower and a separate bath. The kitchen has an electric oven, a gas hob, a dishwasher and a washing machine, and there is a Smart TV with Netflix and Now TV, as well as WiFi. Outside, a terrace with a table and chairs has steps down to a barbecue area.

Roadside parking nearby is unrestricted, but parking directly outside the house is not advised because the road is narrow. Check-in is after 6pm. One well-behaved pet is welcome and smoking is not allowed. The cottage suits a family or group of friends who are comfortable with stairs and a hillside street, with one dog.
