Spring View Cottage

Spring View Cottage is a one-bedroom cottage in Wool, near Moreton, reached by a short wooden footbridge over a shallow stream and a path through the shared front garden. The cottage sleeps 2 and does not accept children. The pub is within 50 yards and the shop within 100 yards. Guests share the front garden and the entrance hall.

A flagstone hallway leads into the lounge and dining room, where a sofa for two and an armchair face a TV with a DVD player and an iPod dock, with a coal-effect electric fire. The kitchen has an oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. Upstairs are the bathroom, with a bath, overhead shower and WC, and the double bedroom, which has a TV and slightly reduced head height under the eaves. Heating is by night storage heater and electric radiators.

The front garden is a shared lawn that looks over the stream, and an open stream runs nearby. At the back is a rear garden for guests only, with seating, a water feature and borders, although it has a shared access gate. There is no parking at the cottage: cars are left in the village.

One dog is allowed, with an additional charge possible. The cottage suits a couple who are happy to walk to the pub and can manage a footbridge and the stairs up to the only bedroom.
