Stable Cottage

Stable Cottage is a thatched cottage built of ham stone in the village of Burton Bradstock, with three bedrooms for up to six. Ceiling beams run through the kitchen/diner, and the living/dining room has a vaulted ceiling, an electric wood-burning-effect fire and full-height glass doors onto the rear garden. The shop is 0.3 miles away and the nearest pub 0.2 miles.

The south-facing walled garden is enclosed, with a patio, a lawn, furniture, a bench and a summer house, and stone steps lead from the lounge to a seating area. The king-size bedroom has an en-suite walk-in shower and heated towel rail, and two further double bedrooms share the family bathroom, which has a bath with a shower over. A cloakroom is also fitted. The kitchen has a range cooker with an electric oven and gas hob, a microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer and dishwasher. There are a Smart TV, Alexa and WiFi, and fuel and power, bed linen and towels are included in the rent. A highchair and cot are available.

Some rooms have low ceilings and beams, and the glass dining table and glass sliding doors mean children need to be supervised. Parking is on the road for one car, and guests are asked not to charge a vehicle from the cottage's domestic supply. Pets and smoking are not allowed. Check-in is from 4pm and check-out at 10am. It suits a family or a group of friends of up to six who want a walled garden and a king-size room with its own shower.
