Stag Cottage

Stag Cottage is in Lytchett Matravers, at the end of a quiet no-through road with trees all round it. The village is near Wimborne Minster, and the cottage sleeps six.

The two bedrooms are both en suite. The king-size has a freestanding bath and a walk-in shower, and the twin has its own walk-in shower. The sitting room has a sofa bed, and the owner needs to know in advance if you want it set up. The kitchen/diner has an electric oven, an induction hob, a microwave, a wine fridge, a washer/dryer, a dishwasher and a coffee machine. Heating is underfloor on the ground floor only, helped by solar panels.

The hot tub sits in the enclosed rear garden, which also has a patio, a lawn, furniture and a charcoal barbecue with a starter pack. Bathrobes and separate hot tub towels come with the cottage, along with bed linen, hand and bath towels, fuel and power. Off-road parking is for two cars, but car charging is not allowed at the property. A water softener serves the bathrooms, and a private chef can be pre-booked. The nearest shop is 0.5 miles away and the pub 0.4 miles.

Pets and smoking are not allowed, and the cottage does not accept stag parties or similar group bookings. The minimum stay is two nights, and in the summer school holidays only 7-night stays are taken, arriving on a Friday. A good-housekeeping bond is payable. The cottage suits two couples or a small family who want a hot tub and parking at the door.
