Stone Cottage - Swanage

This stone cottage is in a quiet street of similar stone-built houses in the centre of Swanage. Shops and pubs are 200 metres away, the beach is 300 metres, the heritage railway station 200 metres and the South West Coast Path 500 metres, with Swanage Pier 0.5 miles away.

A spacious hallway has room for coats and sandy shoes. To the left is the lounge, with sofas around a Smart TV and an ornamental fireplace, and beyond it the dining room. That leads to the kitchen, which has an electric oven and hob, a fridge with a freezer box and a microwave, and a ground-floor WC. The kitchen also opens to the back courtyard.

Upstairs are three bedrooms: a king-size, a double and a twin. A family bathroom and a separate shower room serve them, and with the ground-floor WC off the kitchen, six guests are not tied to a single bathroom. Guests arrive from 16:00 and leave before 10:00. The cottage sleeps six.

The courtyard garden is enclosed and has outdoor furniture. Parking is on the surrounding streets, subject to availability. Dogs cannot be accommodated. The cottage suits a family of six, or friends sharing, who plan to walk everywhere from the door.
