Stone Cottage - Wimborne

Stone Cottage is in the market town of Wimborne Minster, on a residential street, and it sleeps four. Both bedrooms are upstairs: a king-size and a double. There are two bathrooms. A shower room with a WC is on the ground floor, and the first-floor bathroom has a freestanding roll-top bath, a separate shower and a WC.

A hallway with space for coats and muddy boots leads to the dining room, which has a country-style table and a wood burner (the first basket of logs is supplied). Double doors open into the lounge, with a Smart TV carrying a basic Sky package, plenty of seating and an electric fire that imitates a wood burner. The kitchen has an electric oven, a gas hob, a washing machine, a dishwasher, a fridge, a freezer and a coffee machine.

The garden is enclosed, with a lawn and several seating areas. A path runs down to a fire pit and a bar area with indoor seating. Parking is on the street and is unrestricted, and there is also a car park a two-minute walk away. The stairs may not be suitable for those with limited mobility.

The pub is 250 metres away, the shop 550 metres and the beach 8 miles. Dogs are not allowed. Check-in is from 4.30pm and check-out before 10am. The cottage suits a couple or a small family who want a garden with a fire pit in the town.
