Sycamore Cottage - Chideock

Sycamore Cottage is one of six properties on a shared site near Chideock, with a spacious lawn that the homes share, bordered by a small brook, and a larger lawn beside the barns that suits children's games. It sleeps 5 across two bedrooms. Footpaths lead from here down to the beach and the pub at Seatown. The shingle beach is 0.75 miles away, the pub 0.5 miles and the shop 0.75 miles.

You come in through an entrance hall for coats and boots, then a half-flight of steps goes down into the open-plan lounge, kitchen and dining area. The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, a dishwasher, a microwave and a washer-dryer, and the lounge has a TV/DVD player and a selection of games, books and DVDs. The entrance floor also has the triple bedroom, with a double bed and a single bed. A further half-flight up is the double bedroom, with views over the nearby hills, and the bathroom with a shower over the bath. Heating is by night storage and electric radiators.

Outside is an unenclosed patio with seating, a BBQ and a chimenea. Off-road parking is for one car. A travel cot and highchair are available.

One dog is allowed, with an additional charge possible. The cottage suits a family of up to five who want shared lawns for children, or a couple with a dog and space to spare.
