Clydesdale

Clydesdale is a two-bedroom cottage for four in the village of Chideock, near Bridport, along a peaceful no-through road. The shop and the pub are each 200 metres away and the beach is 1 mile.

You enter by the back door into a boot room and WC, then go through to the kitchen, which has an electric oven and hob, a fridge/freezer, a dishwasher, a washing machine and a microwave. A couple of steps lead down into the dining room. The lounge has a Smart TV, plush seating and a wood burner on a stone hearth, with the first basket of logs supplied.

Stairs from the dining room lead to the first-floor landing, where the shower room and the twin bedroom are. A step leads down into the twin room. A further staircase rises directly into the king-size bedroom, which has a seating area. The shower room has a shower and WC.

Outside there is a small seating area, which is not enclosed. Off-road parking is for two cars. Two dogs may stay, and additional charges may apply. The cottage suits two couples, or one couple with a pair of friends, who are happy with steps and a stair-only route to both bedrooms and want a village pub on the doorstep.
