Mallards Stable

Mallards Stable is a converted stable at the end of an unenclosed gravelled drive, beyond the owner's house and the outbuildings of the former farm, near Chideock. The lane leads towards Seatown, and the pub and the shop are each 300 yards away. The beach and coastal walks are 1 mile away. A maximum of 4 people can stay.

Both bedrooms are off the entrance hall, and each has a king-size wooden sleigh bed, beams, exposed brickwork and French doors to the terrace. One en-suite is a bathroom with a bath and a shower over it, the other is a shower room. The living space is up the oak staircase: a kitchen, dining area and lounge in one room with sloping ceilings, skylights, a Smart TV, a desk, and a Bluetooth sound system with an iPod dock. The kitchen has a cooker, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine, and the freezer is under the stairs.

The large terrace is unenclosed and has seating. Parking is a single off-road space, with a second car by arrangement with the owner. Children aged 5 and under are not accepted, and dogs are not allowed. A self-contained annexe next door sleeps two more, and this property can also be booked with the neighbouring property and the annexe for up to 10 people.

The stable suits two couples who want an en-suite each and do not mind carrying bags up a staircase to the kitchen and lounge.
