Tally Ho!

Tally Ho! is a three-bedroom lodge on a lakeside estate at Crossways, near Dorchester and close to Warmwell. Dorchester is 6 miles away, a shop is 1.5 miles off, the pub is 2 miles and the beach 6.5 miles. The ground floor combines a kitchen, a dual-aspect lounge and a circular dining table, with a cloakroom and a small coat cupboard.

The kitchen is integrated and has an induction hob, an electric oven, a microwave, a fridge/freezer, a dishwasher and a washer/dryer. The lounge has an L-shaped sofa, a wood burner, a Smart TV, a Bluetooth Sonos speaker and board games. Upstairs, the two king-size bedrooms are different: one has an en-suite shower room, the other has fitted storage. The third bedroom has bunk beds, and the family bathroom has a bath, a shower and a WC. A full-height landing holds a beanbag.

The garden faces south-west and has a decked area, dining furniture and a BBQ. Parking is for one car, and other cars go in the main car park. The estate's shared facilities include an outdoor pool, a tennis court and a sauna. Access to the pool and spa is payable on arrival, and a refundable security deposit is paid direct to the site.

No dogs are allowed. Check-in is from 4pm and check-out is before 10am. The lodge suits a family with younger children, or two couples and a child, who want a south-west-facing garden and an estate to use.
