Thatched Cottage

Thatched Cottage is a Grade II listed house on a village road in Charmouth. The shop and pub are each 0.3 miles away and the beach 0.6 miles. The kitchen/diner has a Welsh dresser and a farmhouse table, with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, washer/dryer and dishwasher, and the utility/cloakroom is on the ground floor.

A sitting room is at the front, and a sunroom on the half landing looks over the garden. The bathroom has a roll-top bath with a separate walk-in shower. Upstairs are three bedrooms: a king-size and a double at the front, and a twin at the rear with a stable door; the twin holds one single bed and one small single. The bedding is feather, and alternatives cannot be provided. The twin room looks out over the garden.

The enclosed rear garden has a lawn, patio, furniture and a raised terrace behind a stone wall, with steps in the garden. Parking is unallocated and on the road. Two well-behaved dogs are welcome, and smoking is not allowed. Check-in is from 4pm and check-out by 10am. It suits a family or group of six, with dogs, who are happy with feather bedding and a few garden steps. Neighbouring Lyme Regis has the Cobb harbour.
