The Apartment at Queen Anne's Lodge is a ground-floor studio for two in Lyme Regis. Its large windows look out to sea, and the double bed shares the open space with the sitting area, a small kitchen and a dining area, so the sea is still in view from the bed. On the patio at the front is a garden bench.

The kitchen has an electric hob, a microwave oven with a grill and a fridge, but no freezer, which is worth knowing for a longer stay. Heating is gas central heating with an electric heater as well. The shower room has a walk-in shower, basin and WC. A TV, DVD player, Bluetooth radio and WiFi are provided, and fuel, power, bed linen and towels are included.

Parking takes planning. There is on-street parking with no guarantee of a space, or a public car park a short walk away, payable on site and subject to availability. A good-housekeeping bond is payable. The shop is 0.4 miles away and the pub 0.1 miles, and the Cobb harbour and causeway are a short walk.

No children are allowed, and smoking is not permitted. Pets are welcome, but confirm how many are accepted when you book. It suits a couple who want a compact base with a sea view and can manage without a freezer.
