The Barn @ Swanage Farm

The Barn @ Swanage Farm sits in the grounds of a farm on the outskirts of Swanage, and sleeps six. The shop, the pub and a restaurant are within 0.5 miles, and the beach is 1 mile away. A driveway leads to a car port with private parking for two cars.

The ground floor is one open-plan room with the lounge, kitchen and dining table, and bi-fold doors from the dining area lead to the garden. The main bedroom is also downstairs, with a super-king-size bed that zips and links and can be set up as twins, next to the family bathroom. There is one small step up from the dining area to the bedroom and bathroom.

Upstairs there is a king-size bedroom, a bunk bedroom for children and a shower room. The first-floor rooms have sloping ceilings and Velux windows, and the ceilings are low. The bunks are for children, so the barn takes four adults at most. The kitchen has a dishwasher, a washing machine, a fridge/freezer and a microwave. The lounge has a Smart TV, and the barn has internet access.

The enclosed garden has a patio, a table and chairs, and a small lawn with sun loungers. The barn is next to a working farm, and tractors use the lane behind it. There are no stairgates, travel cots or highchairs, and guests bring their own beach towels. Dogs are not allowed. It suits a family with younger children who want a garden and a bedroom on the ground floor.
