The Bungalow

The Bungalow stands in the grounds of Victoria House in Lyme Regis, a former station hotel that has been converted into several apartments, and it is a detached, single-storey building of its own. A pub is 0.2 miles away, the nearest shop 0.4 miles and the beach 0.6 miles. Parking for one car is off the road, and the bungalow has an enclosed courtyard garden with a patio and furniture, reached through bi-folding doors from the living area.

The living and dining room has a wood-burning stove. Logs and kindling are not supplied, though they can be bought locally. The adjoining kitchen has an electric oven and hob, a microwave, a fridge freezer, a washing machine and a coffee machine, and the bungalow has a TV, electric central heating, and fuel, power, bed linen and towels in the rent. A welcome pack of milk, tea and local produce is waiting on arrival.

The king-size bedroom has an en-suite shower room with a walk-in shower, and there is a separate cloakroom with a basin and WC. It sleeps two, which makes it best for a couple, and one well-behaved dog is welcome. Smoking is not allowed. A good-housekeeping bond is payable. Check-in is from 4pm and check-out is by 10am.
