The Cabin

The Cabin is a one-level chalet in Lyme Regis for two adults, and it does not accept children. Everything is in one studio-style room: a double bed, a dining area, a sitting area and a galley kitchen with an electric hob, microwave and fridge. Wood panelling lines the walls, and an electric stove-effect fire is the focus of the seating, which faces the double doors to the veranda. The dining area is next to the kitchen.

Double doors open onto a decked veranda with patio furniture. It looks out over the harbour at Lyme Bay and has sea views, and the bed has the same outlook through the chalet doors. For washing there is a shower room with a walk-in shower, basin and WC.

Warmth comes from electric heating. A hairdryer and an ironing board are supplied, along with a smart TV, a CD player/radio and WiFi, and the rent covers bed linen, towels, fuel and power. One car can park off the road. The nearest shop is 0.4 miles away and the nearest pub 0.3 miles.

Two sets of steps lead down to the property. No pets are accepted and nobody may smoke; a good-housekeeping bond is charged. It is best for a couple who want a compact base with a view from the veranda.
