The Captain's Deck

The Captain's Deck stands at the water's edge in Swanage, and the sea view is the centrepiece of the main room. You come in from the carport through a hall with room for coats and boots, then step into a single open space split into three zones: a kitchen with white units, a dining table for four, and a lounge area with a Smart TV and a Bluetooth sound system.

Patio doors from the lounge open onto a balcony above the water, furnished with two reclining chairs and a coffee table. The appliances are an oven, a fridge, a freezer, a dishwasher, a microwave and a tumble dryer, and Wi-Fi is included.

The two bedrooms are downstairs from the living area: a double whose recessed stone window looks out to sea, and a twin. Both share one bathroom with an overhead shower. Parking is for one car in the carport, with further space in the visitors' parking area.

Swanage's sandy beach, shops, pubs and restaurants are a short stroll away. Dogs are not accepted. The apartment suits two couples or a small family who want to be on the waterfront and can manage the stairs between the living space and the bedrooms.
