The Coach House - Swanage

The Coach House is a two-storey home in Swanage for up to four guests. The pub is 100 metres away, the beach just over 150 metres, and the shops less than a mile. One car can park at the property.

The hallway leads straight into a long kitchen/diner with an electric oven, gas hob, American-style fridge/freezer, microwave and dishwasher, and a table that seats four. The utility room on the same floor holds the washing machine and a WC. Upstairs, where the ceilings slope and the beams show, are the lounge, with a Smart TV, and the two double bedrooms. One has an en-suite shower room; the other uses a bathroom with a bath and a handheld shower.

Outside is an enclosed paved courtyard with seating. Barbecues are not permitted. The owner has a studio on site and works there occasionally, and two areas of the garden holding studio equipment are signed and roped off, so guests are asked to keep out of them. Parking is for one car, and it helps to park at a slight angle to the house so you can get out. Further parking is in North Beach Car Park, which gives access to the rear of the property.

Dogs cannot stay here. Guests arrive from 4pm and leave before 10am. The Coach House suits two couples or a small family who want the pub and the beach on foot and are comfortable with a studio on the grounds.
