The Corner House

The Corner House is an end-of-terrace house in Weymouth, 0.2 miles from the beach, with a pub 0.1 mile away and a shop 0.2 miles away. Downstairs are a kitchen/diner, a sitting room with a woodburning stove, a study and a shower room with a walk-in shower. The kitchen has an electric oven, a gas hob, a microwave and a coffee machine for Nespresso Original pods (not provided). A dishwasher and a washing machine are fitted too.

Two bedrooms sit upstairs: a king-size and a twin that can be made up as a super-king on request. The bathroom has a bath with a shower over it, and there are steps up to it, so take care. Four people is the limit. There is a Smart TV, WiFi, a selection of books and central heating, and bed linen and towels are in the rent. Fuel and power are included as well, though guests bring their own wood, kindling and lighters for the stove.

Outside, an enclosed rear courtyard has furniture. The house has no allocated parking: cars go on the nearby roads, subject to availability, and some of those roads are limited to one hour, so you may need a short walk from an unrestricted road. A good-housekeeping bond is payable. Check-in is from 4pm and check-out by 10am.

Pets and smoking are not allowed. The house suits two couples or a small family who can manage without a parking space at the door.
