The Cottage

The Cottage is a townhouse in the middle of Weymouth, and it is built up over three floors. The living and dining room has a dining table and a Smart TV, the kitchen has an electric oven and hob, a microwave and a fridge, and a second Smart TV and WiFi complete the electronics. Gas central heating is fitted, and fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the rent.

Two bedrooms sleep four: a double and a twin. The only bathroom is on the ground floor and has a bath with a shower over, a basin and a heated towel rail. On the second floor, a TV games room gives the group somewhere to spread out, and an enclosed balcony with furniture is the place for a coffee or supper outside. A travel cot, a highchair and a stairgate can be provided for small children.

Parking needs planning. Parking is in a nearby public car park, and one on-road zone permit for the nearby area is available until 6 February 2027, subject to space and council renewal. A space cannot be guaranteed. The shop is 0.2 miles away, while the pub and the beach are 0.1 miles.

Because the house sits among pubs, restaurants and a night club, the area can be lively, and festivals bring some road closures and parking restrictions. The stairs may not suit anyone with mobility issues or older guests. Check-in is from 4pm and check-out by 10am, and neither pets nor smoking are allowed. It suits two couples or a small family who want to be on foot from the door.
