The Lodge - Swanage Bay View

The Lodge sits on a site in Swanage, with panoramic views over Swanage Bay and Ballard Down from the deck that wraps around it. External stone steps lead up to the entrance deck. Parking for two cars is off-road, and the parking and access are on an incline, so there is alternative access at the side of the lodge if steps are not ideal.

The open-plan lounge, kitchen and dining area has a vaulted ceiling, sofas, a flame-effect electric fire and a Smart TV with Netflix, Prime Video and Disney+. The kitchen has a gas hob, an electric oven, a microwave, a fridge/freezer, a cooler and a dishwasher, and a washer/dryer is in a utility area. A travel cot and highchair are available.

The bedrooms are a king-size with double doors to the garden, a TV, a dressing area and an en-suite shower room, and two twin rooms. The main bathroom has a shower over the bath and a WC. The deck runs along two sides of the lodge, with sea views looking towards the Isle of Wight, and a small enclosed garden has a patio, a lawn and furniture.

Guests can use the site's shared heated indoor swimming pool and gym for an additional fee, payable directly to the site. There is also a cafe and bar on site, with variable opening hours depending on the season, and some activities at peak times, so check with the site first. A pub and shop are 800 metres away and the beach is within a mile. Dogs are not allowed. Check-in is from 4pm and check-out before 10am. The lodge suits a family or friends who want a pool on site and a deck with sea views.
