The Old Dairy

The Old Dairy is a single-storey bungalow in Whitchurch Canonicorum, with Charmouth 2.3 miles away and the River Char 0.1 miles away. It has three bedrooms, one king-size, one double and one single, and a bathroom with a bath and a shower over it. It sleeps four.

The open-plan living area combines a kitchen, a dining area and a sitting area with a woodburning stove, under a vaulted ceiling with exposed beams. Logs are not supplied for the stove. The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, a washer/dryer and a dishwasher. Heating is by oil central heating, fuel and power are included, and so are bed linen and towels. No facilities for children are provided.

The private rear garden has a paddock with a small orchard, a lawn and a patio with furniture. It is not enclosed. At the front, a gravel drive with a five-bar gate leads to two parking spaces. The shop is 1.7 miles away and the pub 2.1 miles. A good-housekeeping bond is payable.

Two well-behaved dogs are welcome, which suits a couple or small group walking with dogs, though the open garden means they will need watching. Smoking is not allowed.
