1 Cowdea Farm is a stone-built barn conversion in the hamlet of Bettiscombe, on the edge of the Marshwood Vale. It is near Whitchurch Canonicorum, with Bridport 7 miles away and Lyme Regis 10 miles. Everything is on the ground floor: a double bedroom, a single bedroom and a bathroom with a bath and a shower over it, for three guests in all.

The kitchen has a dining area, an electric oven and hob, a microwave, a fridge and a washing machine. The sitting room has an electric fire, and patio doors lead through to a conservatory with its own dining table and chairs. Night storage heaters heat the rooms. There is a TV with Freeview, a DVD player, a radio and WiFi, and fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included. A cot and highchair are available on request.

The enclosed lawned garden has a patio with furniture, and the property has off-road parking for two cars. The shop is 2 miles away and the nearest pub 1 mile. The owner lives nearby, and craft lessons can be arranged through her.

Dogs are welcome, either one large dog or two small to medium ones, and smoking is not allowed. Electric cars cannot be charged at the property. It suits a couple, or a couple with one child, who want a single-level stay with a garden for a dog.
