Apple Cottage

Apple Cottage is a single-storey cottage set around a courtyard in Whitchurch Canonicorum. It has one king-size bedroom with an en-suite that holds a bath with a shower over it, so it sleeps two. The living space under the vaulted ceiling is open plan, with a kitchen, a dining area and a sitting area with a woodburning stove.

The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, a fridge with an ice box, a microwave, a kettle and a toaster. There is a wall-mounted TV and WiFi, central heating, and fuel and power, bed linen and towels are included. A high chair is available. A good-housekeeping bond is payable.

Guests can use a heated indoor swimming pool with a jacuzzi at no extra cost, but the pool is not open all year. It runs only on set dates, so check them against your stay before booking, and the details for arranging use are left in the cottage. The cottage has a small enclosed rear courtyard with AstroTurf and furniture, plus a communal gravelled courtyard with seating. Parking is in a designated guest car park, and the pub is 0.2 miles away. The shop is 2 miles away.

Up to three well-behaved pets are welcome, and smoking is not allowed. It suits a couple who want a woodburner, a pool when it is open and a dog or two for company.
