Penny Corner

Penny Corner is a one-bedroom home in the village of Whitchurch Canonicorum, in the Marshwood Vale. The living space is a single open-plan room with the kitchen, a dining area and a sitting area. The kitchen has an electric oven, grill and hob, a microwave, a fridge, a small freezer and a coffee machine, and the house has electric heating, a TV and WiFi.

The spacious double bedroom is on the first floor and looks over the village and the countryside beyond. The bathroom is on the same floor, with a bath and a shower over it. Fuel and power, bed linen and towels are all included in the rent, and a good-housekeeping bond is payable. Check-in is from 4pm and check-out is by 10am.

A side garden has a gravelled seating area with furniture, and off-road parking takes one car. The pub is 0.1 miles away and the nearest shop is 1.3 miles. Charging an electric vehicle is not allowed at the property, and the nearest public charging points are in Bridport.

Up to three well-behaved dogs are welcome, but the garden is not secure for pets. Smoking is not allowed. It suits a couple who want a quiet village base with a pub 0.1 miles away, and who do not need a secure garden for a dog.
