The Old Flax Shop

The Old Flax Shop is an annex in Bridport with two beamed bedrooms and a limit of four guests. Each bedroom has a super-king bed made from two zip-linked singles, so either can be set up as twin beds on request. The sitting room has a woodburning stove, a dining table, a sofa and a Smart TV, and the property looks over Colmers Hill.

In the kitchen there is an electric oven and hob, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, a washing machine, an iron and a Nespresso machine, and one sleeve of pods is included. The shower room has a walk-in shower, basin and WC. A highchair and stairgate are provided, and a travel cot can be requested. Oil central heating is fitted, and fuel, power, bed linen and towels are included.

The enclosed patio has garden furniture and a barbecue. One well-behaved dog is welcome, and a field with a right of way sits right outside for walking. Parking on site is for one car, and electric vehicles cannot be charged here, although charge points can be found in Bridport. The shop (0.8 miles) and the pub (0.6 miles) are a short drive away. Smoking is not allowed, and a good-housekeeping bond is payable. It suits two couples or a small family with a dog.
