The Retreat

The Retreat is a ground-floor apartment in the middle of Swanage, arranged on a single level. It has one bedroom and a sofa bed in the lounge, which together sleep four. The pub and the shop are just over 300 metres away, and the beach is 0.5 miles.

The bedroom has a zip-and-link king-size bed that can be set up as twins on request, and from its window you can see Swanage Pier. The shower room has a walk-in shower and a WC. In the lounge, the two-seater sofa bed sleeps two, and there is an armchair and a TV with DVD and CD players. A fold-out camp bed for one child can also be requested.

A window in the kitchen and dining area looks over Swanage Bay, and the round dining table seats four. The kitchen has an electric fan oven and hob, an undercounter fridge with a freezer box, a dishwasher, a washing machine and a microwave. A welcome pack is provided, along with a travel cot and highchair. Guests bring their own beach towels.

Parking is on the street. There is storage in the garage that is useful for bikes, pushchairs or kayaks. Check-in is from 4pm and check-out is before 10am. Dogs are not allowed. With one bedroom and a sofa bed, the flat suits two couples who do not mind the lounge doubling as sleeping space, or a couple with two children.
