The Retreat

The hot tub at The Retreat sits in an enclosed rear garden with a patio and furniture, and it has a quiet period from 10pm to 8am. The house is in Ferndown, near Wimborne Minster, with Bournemouth 7.4 miles from the town and Poole 9.7 miles. Guests are given a card to operate the entrance gates.

Indoors, the open-plan living area combines a kitchen, a dining space and a sitting area with a Smart TV with Sky. The kitchen has an electric double oven and hob, a microwave, a dishwasher and a Tassimo coffee machine, and a utility room holds the washing machine and tumble dryer. Books, games and WiFi are provided. Underfloor heating covers the ground floor, with electric central heating elsewhere.

Upstairs are two bedrooms. One is a double with a Smart TV and a skylight window, and the other is a family room with two double beds and its own Smart TV. Each floor has a wet room with a walk-in shower, basin and WC. A high chair and travel cot can be requested. The property sleeps four.

Two cars fit in the designated parking. Restaurants are close by, with a shop 0.2 miles off and a pub 0.3 miles. The rules are no pets, no smoking and a good housekeeping bond. Best for two couples, or a family of four who want a hot tub and a wet room on each floor.
