The Studio Barn

The Studio Barn is a single-storey, one-bedroom property a mile from Wareham. It stands next to the owner's home, with a private entrance door and a porch for muddy boots. It sleeps two. RSPB Arne is within walking distance, and Stoborough Heath, Hartland Moor and Studland are all within 6 miles.

Inside, one open-plan room holds the lounge, dining space and kitchen. Bi-fold doors run along one side and look onto the garden, and skylights bring in light. The kitchen corner has an electric oven and hob, a fridge, a microwave, a 32-litre table-top freezer and a dishwasher, and the lounge has a Smart TV. The double bedroom opens through a sliding door to an en-suite shower room with a WC.

Outside is a courtyard garden with furniture and a charcoal BBQ, looking to the neighbouring woodland. The off-road parking space at the front is for one car. The owner keeps beehives in the neighbouring field, about 15 to 20 metres away, and the bees are active between April and September.

One dog is allowed, and additional charges may apply. A shop and a pub are within 0.25 miles, and the beach is 6.5 miles away. The barn suits a couple, with or without a dog, who want a quiet base for wildlife walks close to the town.
