Gas central heating runs alongside the electric fire. The kitchen has a gas oven and hob, a microwave, a dishwasher, a washing machine, a fridge/freezer and a coffee maker, and there is a smart TV with Sky and WiFi.

The enclosed garden has a lawn and a decked veranda with furniture, and private off-road parking takes numerous cars. Fuel, power, bed linen and towels are included in the rent, and a good-housekeeping bond is payable. The shop is 0.7 miles away and the pub 0.8 miles.

From April to the end of October the property takes weekly bookings that start on a Friday. From the start of November to the end of March, stays run either Monday to Friday or Friday to Monday. Pets and smoking are not allowed. It suits a family of four or two couples who want a rural setting with private parking.
