Water Meadow Cottage

Water Meadow Cottage is in Stoborough, less than a mile from the town centre of Wareham and a short walk from it. It sleeps five in three bedrooms: a super-king-size zip-and-link room that can be made up as a twin on request, a king-size room and a single.

Traditional features have been kept, including steep cottage stairs, original fireplaces and stable-style doorways, so it is worth knowing before you book. Downstairs there is a kitchen with an electric oven and hob, a dishwasher, a fridge/freezer, a microwave and a Tassimo coffee machine, a utility room with washing and drying facilities, and a shower room. The dining room and the lounge each have a wood burner and a Smart TV. The family bathroom is upstairs, with a bath that has restricted head height above it.

The enclosed garden at the rear has outdoor furniture and a BBQ, with shrubs and trees for shade. Private parking for one car is on the driveway at the back of the house. A travel cot is available.

Two dogs are allowed, and additional charges may apply. The pub is 200 yards away, the shop 0.5 miles and the beach 9 miles. The cottage suits a family or small group of up to five who are comfortable with steep stairs and want to walk into town.
