Part of a converted church on the Frome, three bedrooms

The Tower is part of a converted church on the banks of the River Frome, 4 miles from Wareham. It sleeps six. You climb steps from the parking area to the original church door, which opens into an entrance hall for boots and coats.

Inside, an open-plan dining and kitchen area has an electric oven and hob, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer and a dishwasher, and a utility area with a washing machine. A short flight of stairs leads to two bedrooms, a king-size and a super-king-size, which share a shower room. On the first floor, the lounge shows off the roof trusses and original windows, and has a Smart TV with Netflix and Prime Video and a gas fire with a wood burner effect. The third bedroom, a super-king-size, is also up here, with an en-suite bathroom.

A garden with a patio and furniture looks over the countryside. Parking is one off-road space in a shared car park, with roadside parking when there is room. A security camera covers the front entrance door.

Two dogs are allowed, and additional charges may apply. The nearest shop and pub are 4 miles away, and the beach is 6 miles. The property suits three couples or a family who are happy with several flights of stairs.
