Tide's Turn

At Tide's Turn, double doors from the entrance lead straight into the kitchen, which has an integrated oven, a gas hob, a microwave, a dishwasher and a fridge and freezer, with a separate utility room for the washer/dryer. The open-plan lounge and dining area beyond has two large sofas, a coffee table, a large dining table and a TV with a DVD player. The house is in a gated complex of converted farm buildings in Charmouth, and the beach, shops and pubs are within walking distance.

Of the three bedrooms, a double is on the ground floor, beside a wet room with a shower and a WC. Upstairs are a twin room and a king-size room with an en-suite bathroom, which has a shower over the bath, and a first-floor bathroom with a shower over the bath and a WC.

An enclosed patio outside has garden furniture. The complex has 16 properties and ample parking on site. Guests can use the covered, heated outdoor pool at the neighbouring holiday park, which is open on set dates through the season. The park also has a coffee shop and a shared children's play area. The health club, with a gym, an indoor pool, a sauna and a steam room, is for over 18s at an additional charge.

Club Wi-Fi is available for an extra charge. The cot has no mattress, stairgates are not provided, and a refundable security deposit is payable closer to the holiday. Arrival is between 4pm and 8pm, and electric cars cannot be charged at the property. No dogs are allowed. The house suits a family of up to six, or friends sharing, who want a bedroom and a wet room on the ground floor.
