Two Hoots

Two Hoots is an old cottage with a Purbeck stone facade in the middle of Swanage, sleeping three. The shop and pub are 200 metres away and the beach is 300 metres. Two dogs are allowed, with additional charges possible, and the small courtyard garden is enclosed and has a bistro table and chairs. The garden also has access to the main road.

The lounge is at the front of the house, with a sofa beside a wood burner-effect electric fire. A few small steps lead down to the kitchen/dining nook and the bathroom, which has a shower over the bath and a WC. The kitchen has an electric cooker, a microwave and a fridge/freezer, and the washing machine is in a utility area. An open staircase rises through two floors: a single bedroom on the first, and a double bedroom on the second with a TV and a DVD player.

The ceilings are low and sloping, so taller guests should take care. There is no private parking, only on-street spaces. A welcome pack is provided, and the lounge has its own TV. Check-in opens at 4pm, with check-out before 10am.

It suits a couple with a child, or a pair of friends with a dog or two, who are happy to take small steps and stairs in an old house.
