Upsidedown House

Upsidedown House stands in a residential part of Weymouth, close to the harbour and Brewers Quay. All three bedrooms are on the ground floor: a 5ft king-size room with a further single bed and an en-suite shower, a twin single room, and a room with one single bed. A family bathroom with a bath and shower is on the same floor, making two bathrooms in all.

The living space is upstairs. It is a large open-plan room with a vaulted ceiling and original beams, taking in a kitchen with a breakfast bar, a dining area and a sitting area. A small balcony opens from the lounge, and a patio with furniture sits at the back. The kitchen has an electric oven, a gas hob, a microwave, a washing machine, a dishwasher, and separate under-counter fridge and freezer, with WiFi and a TV.

Two cars fit in the electronically gated residents' parking area. One small dog is welcome, and smoking is not allowed. A cot is available; guests bring their own cot linen. The shop and a pub are two minutes away and the beach ten minutes. Festivals such as the Fayre in the Square and the Wessex Folk Festival close the harbour and Hope Square to traffic and limit parking. The house suits a family or a group of friends of up to six who want every bedroom on one level.
