Waterson

Waterson is a semi-detached house in the village of Osmington Mills, a few metres from the South West Coast Path, with Osmington itself about a mile away. It is approached up steps, and the gardens at front and back are sloping lawns, which may not suit guests with limited mobility. The decking at the front can be slippery, and young children need supervising in the garden.

Three bedrooms sleep seven. One is a twin, one is a super king-size double that can be made up as twin singles if you ask beforehand, and the third has a double and a single bed along with a shower cubicle. A bathroom with a bath and a hand-held shower is on the ground floor, and a cloakroom on the first floor. The sitting room holds a wood-burning stove and a pool table, and fuel for the stove is not supplied. There are also a kitchen with a dishwasher and microwave, a utility room, a dining room, and a selection of books and games. Electric panel heating is fitted, and fuel, power, bed linen and towels are included. A cot and high chair are available.

Outside there is a decked area with seating in front and a back garden with a patio and furniture. Two cars can park off the road. The pub, The Smugglers, is two minutes away and is pet friendly, while the nearest shop is 3 miles off.

Two well-behaved dogs are welcome, and smoking is not allowed. The house suits a large family with dogs who want a pool table and a garden, and who can manage steps.
