Weybury Cottage

Weybury Cottage is a three-bedroom terraced house for six, in the quiet Brewers Quay and Hope Square area of Weymouth. It runs over three floors, with three bedrooms, one of them a twin, and one bathroom with a bath, a shower over it, a basin and a WC. The bathroom has underfloor heating.

Downstairs there are two places to sit. The open-plan living space combines a kitchen, a dining table and a sitting area with a TV, and a separate snug gives the group a second room. The kitchen has an electric oven, a gas hob, a microwave, a fridge, a washing machine and a dishwasher, but no freezer. A stone-surround fireplace and feature walls give it a period feel. At the back, the enclosed garden has a table and chairs.

Two well-behaved dogs are welcome. They are not permitted upstairs at all and should not be left alone in the house, which matters because every bedroom is on an upper floor. The staircase up to the top-floor bedroom is steep and narrow. Smoking is not allowed, a good housekeeping bond is payable, and guests cannot use the garage.

Off-road parking sits at the rear and takes two small cars or one larger vehicle. The beach is 0.5 miles away, and a shop and pub are within 0.1 miles. It suits two families or a group of friends travelling with up to two dogs who are happy to stay on the ground floor.
