6 The Beaches

6 The Beaches is a studio apartment on the top floor of a seafront building in Weymouth. The kitchen, lounge and king-size bed share one open area, with Georgian-style sash windows looking out over the esplanade, the beach and the coastline below. The kitchen area has an electric hob and oven, a microwave, a dishwasher and a fridge freezer, there is also a washing machine, and the separate bathroom has a bath with a shower over it.

The studio sleeps two. The only other apartment on this floor is 5 The Beaches, and the two can be booked together for four guests. There is no balcony, no lift and over 40 steps up to the apartment. A pushchair has to be carried up and kept in the hallway, and there is no highchair or cot, so bring your own.

Weymouth's old harbour and Nothe Fort are an easy walk, and the town has plenty of places to eat and drink. The shop and pub are both 0.1 miles away. The seafront here is lively, with bars adjacent that sometimes stay open until 4am, and festivals bring road closures and parking restrictions.

Parking is on the street under a Zone F permit, subject to availability, so a space cannot be guaranteed, and the permit expires on 22 May 2027, subject to council renewal. The nearest pay and display car park is Weymouth Pavilion, a few minutes' walk away. No smoking and no pets. It is best for a couple who want a compact seafront base and are comfortable with the climb.
