Alpen Rose Cottage

Alpen Rose Cottage is a restored fisherman's cottage in Easton, on the Isle of Portland. Inside the front door is a porch for boots, fishing rods and coats, then a large sitting room, a dining room and a kitchen. The kitchen has a gas hob, an oven, a microwave, a washer/dryer and a dishwasher, and a door leads to a large walled patio with a rear gate to the car park.

All three bedrooms and the bathroom are on the first floor. There is a king-size room, a room with twin single beds, and a third bedroom with a single bed, which sleep five between them. The bathroom has a bath, a separate shower, a basin and a WC. A cot is available, but guests need to bring their own cot linen. There is WiFi and gas central heating, and fuel, power, bed linen and towels are included in the rent.

The patio garden has furniture. Parking is private for one car only, to the rear, with more parking on the street. Easton Square is a short walk away, with convenience shops and pubs, and Weymouth's beach is approximately 7 miles off, with a regular bus service as an alternative to the car.

Two small dogs are welcome. The cottage suits a family or a group of friends who want a walled patio and a car space, and who do not mind that one of the three bedrooms is a single.
