Spaniels Cottage

Spaniels Cottage is a three-storey cottage on the Isle of Portland, just off the main road. The shop and the pub are each 100 yards away, and the beach is 0.2 miles. Eight steps lead down to the front door, so plan for that with luggage.

The ground floor has a spacious kitchen at the entrance, with an electric oven, a gas hob, a fridge, a freezer and a microwave. Beyond it, the living and dining room has comfortable sofas, a Smart TV and a window seat, and a utility room sits at the rear. On the first floor are the king-size bedroom and the family shower room with a double shower. The second floor holds a twin room, with 2ft 6in beds, and a single room, both with views across Chesil Beach.

The rear garden is enclosed and has furniture. At the front there is space to store bikes, kayaks and paddle boards. There is no private parking: parking is on the road, so read the street notices, and the public car park 0.2 miles away has local charges.

Two dogs are allowed, and additional charges may apply. The cottage suits a family of up to five, or friends on a paddling and walking weekend, who are happy to climb two flights of stairs.
