Apple Tree Cottage

Apple Tree Cottage is a single-storey cottage in Upton, close to the seaside village of Preston and Weymouth, inside the Dorset AONB. The cottage is near Osmington. Ringstead Bay beach is 2 miles away.

The layout is simple. One double bedroom has its own en-suite bathroom with a bath and a shower over it, and the kitchen/diner and sitting room share the rest of the floor. The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, a microwave, a fridge with a freezer compartment and a washing machine. There is a Smart TV and WiFi, electric heating, and bed linen, towels, fuel and power are all in the rent.

Behind the cottage is an enclosed garden with a patio and furniture, and off-road parking takes one car. One well-behaved dog is welcome. Smoking is not allowed. Bookings run Friday to Friday only, with check-in from 4pm and check-out at 10am. A gardener comes for about an hour every fortnight on a Friday between 1pm and 2pm or so.

With one double bed and a limit of two guests, the cottage works for a couple, particularly one travelling with a dog. The nearest pub is 1 mile away and the nearest shop 1.5 miles.
