Bracken Cottage

A shop and the village pub are each 0.1 miles from Bracken Cottage, a newly refurbished one-bedroom cottage in Osmington for two guests. The beach is 1.1 miles away, a lake 0.7 miles and a river 1.3 miles.

Inside, one open-plan room holds the kitchen with a dining table and a sitting area with two sofas. Appliances in the kitchen are an electric oven and hob, a fridge/freezer, a kettle and a toaster. The bedroom has a double bed, and the bathroom has a bath with a shower over, a basin, a heated towel rail and a WC. Fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all in the rent, and central heating and WiFi are provided.

Outside, the front garden is not enclosed. It has a gravelled area with a table and chairs, and there is off-road parking for one car. The Sunray, in the village, serves food all day. The Osmington White Horse hill figure is a hike away, and Weymouth, 4.8 miles from the village, has the wider choice of shops, eating places and entertainment.

Pets and smoking are not allowed. Bookings cannot be longer than 14 nights, and a good housekeeping bond is payable. Right for a couple who want a compact base within walking distance of a pub, rather than a larger house.
