Lynwood Lodge - Ocean View

Ocean View is a first-floor apartment for two at Osmington, near Weymouth, one of four properties in a development beside the A353. From the parking area you reach it by a slope and an external staircase. The stable door opens straight into the king-size bedroom, which has a vaulted ceiling and a door through to the shower room with WC.

Next to the bedroom is the lounge, kitchen and dining area, with an electric oven and hob, a microwave, a fridge/freezer and a dishwasher, and a TV. Because the rooms sit within the eaves, head height is restricted in places. Bi-fold doors lead from the lounge to a balcony with furniture, and on a clear day you can see out across the bay from it.

A separate external spiral staircase leads down to the enclosed garden, which has a lawn and a terrace with the hot tub, and a spy hole with a view out across the bay. The one off-road parking space is at the side of the property in a shared area. The beach is 2 miles away, and the pub and shop are within half a mile.

One dog is allowed, with additional charges that may apply. Children and infants under 18 cannot stay. Check-in is from 16:00 and departure is before 10:00. The apartment suits a couple who are comfortable with outside stairs and low ceilings in return for a view.
